Trattoria Dopo Teatro : Italian restaurant in New York wins Wine Spectator Award of Excellence
Manhattan's Italian Trattoria Dopo Teatro has received Wine Spectator Magazine's 2006 Award of Excellence. Trattoria Dopo Teatro's wine selection was developed under the expertise of the restaurant's wine director, Roberto Scarpati. Making its patrons feel that they are in an authentic trattoria in Italy, Trattoria Dopo Teatro's luncheon and dinner menus feature the freshest seafood, cold and hot antipasti, soups, salads, open ravioli, pastas, rissoti, fish, meats, oven-fired pizzas, cheese selections, and desserts. Architect and entrepreneur Emilio Barletta has a passion for creating restaurants that feel like authentic Trattorias one might find in Tuscany or near Rome's Spanish Steps. He is the co-owner and creative force behind three eateries: Trattoria Dopo Teatro, Zanzibar and Cascina, all located in the Broadway theater district of Manhattan.
