Feedsee 3G : Mobile Phones in China : 3G applications demonstrated at industry exposition

In 2007, China's TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance demonstrated their latest 3G applications, the newest TD-SCDMA terminal products and innovative applications at the International Mobile-phone Industry Exposition in Tianjin. Mobile phone makers Motorola and Samsung; world-leading chip makers Qualcomm, Freescale, Intel, and Infineon; and smartphone operating system developer Symbian -- all presented their solutions and systems. Domestic chip companies Chongyou and Commit presented or announced their latest chips and solutions. Both China Mobile and China Unicom presented mobile applications aimed at diversified end users and industrial applications. Chinese mobile games and value-added services providers showed their latest technologies.

TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance

The Alliance was established to promote the Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) technology, which is a 3G mobile telecommunications standard predominately used in China. The Alliance consisted of a group of companies in the telecommunications industry working together to develop and promote this technology.
