Medical AI Degree
September 14, 2023 - The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio and the University College at UTSA have launched the first known program in the US to combine medicine and artificial intelligence. The five-year MD/MS program will enable physicians trained in San Antonio to lead in the practical use of AI to improve diagnostic and treatment outcomes. The program includes core courses, a degree concentration, and a capstone project, and will prepare graduates to become future leaders in research, education, academia, industry, and healthcare administration.
