Drinkable Desserts
Feedsee Beverages : Drinkable Desserts : Baileys Irish Cream liqueur amateur and professional gourmet mixologist and chef drink competition
Irish Cream is a delicious liqueur that blends whiskey with cream and other flavors. It's a versatile ingredient that can be used to create a wide variety of cocktails.
In 2006, the Baileys Drinkable Desserts Challenge invited amateur and professional mixologists and chefs to create their own smooth, contemporary twists on traditional dessert just in time for the holidays. Amateurs and professionals could submit recipes. Following the voting round, a final judging panel included representatives from The Gourmet Cooking Arts Center, the makers of Baileys Irish Cream and mixology experts, will review the top five vote getters in both categories. The Grand Prize winning amateur and professional had their recipes and images featured in a Baileys advertisement in the April 2007 issue of Gourmet Magazine. The top amateur received a trip to New York City with a guest for a private cooking class in the The Gourmet Cooking Arts Center.
